228 Engine 5 is a 1998 International Luverne Pumper. This engine is housed at our Babcock Station 2 and is the front line pumper for this station. Below is a list of some of the trucks features and equipment:
- Five man enclosed cab; 4 MSA 4500 SCBA units
- 1250 GPM Waterous mid-ship pump
- 750 gallons water
- 1400 feet of 5 inch supply line
- 6000 watt light tower
- Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC), CO meter and heat detection gun
- Amkus combination spreader and cutter rescue tool
- AED
