ENGINE 1

 


228 Engine 1 is a 2004 Pierce Quantum Rear Mount CAFS Pumper. This engine is housed at our Main Station 1 and is the departments front line responding pumper. Listed below are some of the features and equipment on this apparatus:

  • Five man enclosed cab; 4 MSA 4500 SCBA units
  • 1500 GPM Waterous pedestal pump
  • Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS)
  • Pierce Husky 10 foam system
  • 720 gallon water tank
  • 30 class A foam cell
  • 1500 feet of 5 inch supply hose
  • 9000 watt light tower
  • Thermal Imaging Camera (TIC), CO meter and heat detection gun
  • 150 feet hoseline hi-rise pack
  • Amkus combination spreader and cutter rescue tool
  • AED
